It's not that I'm willfully obscure, I just don't often get asked to talk about my music on national radio. If they ask me, I'll do it.
I just found this recording of a US-syndicated programme I was on twenty-odd years ago - back in the days when you weren't supposed to say "penis" on the radio.

What's amazing in this interview is that it's only 1991 (not that long ago), but there was still a debate about if a sampler was a 'real' instrument of not.

Real? You'd break your foot if you dropped an Ensoniq Mirage on it. That's definitely real.

Definitely no prescience on the part of the interviewer that soon people would be playing live entirely with their phones and PDAs.
