psycho/geography is a changing exhibition of work curated by four
artists, Rupert White, Nigel Ayers, Daryl Waller and Paul Chaney
using the collective name GreenCube.
The artists are all interested in exposing the deep psychological
and political content inherent in the landscape and our experience of
place. Though connecting with environmental issues, their work goes
beyond the simple moral imperatives implied by the green agenda,
and instead explores related areas of fantasy, desire and imagination.
The result cannot be predicted in advance, but, through working
together the artists hope to discover shared aspects of rural living
that are new, radical and challenging.

Donkey riding

The past few years must be the most photographed years of all time, but most of the photographs taken on digital cameras, phones etc are never printed out. When the digital information photograph is lost, the image is lost forever. It's different with printed photos, you can still recover the image, even from a damaged photograph. On this photo you can see me riding on a donkey, sometime in the early 60s. I think it may be at Morecambe.
